“To move, to breath, to fly, to float. To gain all while you give. To roam the roads of lands remote.”
Four days in Tromsö, northern Norway. Feels like we filled those days with weeks.
Leaving the world behind, I even forgot about christmas.
I met Markus, another photographer, just a few months ago at a photoshoot. We got talking and both of us had been wanting to go to northern Norway/Finland to shoot some Northern Lights, for quiet a while. So we bought a ticket.
I’ve dreamt of seeing whales since I was a a kid. The night we first saw them, was just a lucky turn out, like so many other perfect moments there. We were shooting the aurora, when we heard and saw them just a few meters off shore. It moved me to tears.
Yes, four intense days in Tromsö. Feels like we filled those days with pure happiness.
Mountains, whales and the northern lights. It can’t get better than that.
And though we’ve tried capturing many of those perfect moments on camera, none of these photographs will make you feel the magic as the experience. But I hope they inspire you to go out there, on your own perfect adventure and feel just as alive.
to travel is to live.
